21st Century Skills

developed with input from teachers, education experts, and business
leaders to define and illustrate the skills and knowledge students need
to succeed in work, life and citizenship, as well as the support systems
necessary for 21st century learning outcomes. It has been used by
thousands of educators and hundreds of schools in the U.S. and abroad to

What 21st century skills I need to develop?
While
each framework has slightly different list of critical 21st century

- Collaboration and teamwork.
The
ability to work effectively with others on a common task; taking
actions which respect the needs and contributions of others;
contributing to and accepting the consensus; negotiating a win-win
solution to achieve the objectives of the team.
Creativity and imagination.
Creativity is defined by psychological scientists as the generation of ideas or products that are both original and valuable. Creativity relies on imagination, the conscious representation of what is not immediately present to the senses.
Critical thinking.
Critical thinking is the objective analysis of facts to form a judgment. The subject is complex, and there are several different definitions which generally include the rational, skeptical, unbiased analysis or evaluation of factual evidence.
Problem solving.
Problem solving consists of using generic or ad hoc methods, in an orderly manner, for finding solutions to problems. Some of the problem-solving techniques developed and used in artificial intelligence, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or medicine are related to mental problem-solving techniques studied in psychology.
